Troubleshooting
Having problems with Clipper? Don't worry, we're here to help. But first things first:
Have you tried turning it on and off again?
If Clipper isn't saving what you put into your clipboard, try just opening it from the application launcher. This should restart the clipboard monitoring service if it has been interrupted. Ensure that clipboard monitoring has been enabled in the preferences (which you can access by pushing Menu at the main screen). If Clipper still doesn't work, try rebooting your device.
If you are using a task killer application, make sure that it isn't interfering with Clipper: if possible, exclude Clipper from being killed by it in any situation. You should also note that Google does not recommend the usage of task killer applications with Android.
Something else or it still doesn't work?
No worries - we usually respond to all support requests within 24 hours. Find more instructions at our general support page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you implement feature X, Y or Z?
We are very open to user feedback, and many Clipper features are ideas straight from its users. Send us some e-mail about your idea!
Where is exported data saved?
By default, the import & export feature saves the data to the device's SD card with the filename Clipper.csv (or more specifically, to the path /sdcard/Clipper.csv). The import/export file path can be changed by pushing the "advanced options" button.
(Note that some Samsung models have the concept of both an internal and external SD card: by default, the export will be saved to the internal one. If you need any help locating exports, don't hesitate to get in touch with us!)
How do I stop Clipper from starting on boot?
Clipper runs in the background if clipboard monitoring is enabled and/or if the user has selected the "Always on" notification preference (which is the default). By changing these preferences, you can stop the Clipper background process from running.
